Concrete Enhancement
In controlled third party engineering studies, SuperOx demonstrated a truly ground breaking application of its oxygenation treatment technology. By using the SuperOx water in place of regular city water, concrete that normally takes 28 days to cure was cured in just seven days! The benefits of this potentially disruptive application in construction is truly unfathomable, especially when attempting to estimate the difference this is going to make in dollars. It will allow early removal of form-work, and time is money.
Another way to incorporate the highly oxygenated water in concrete production to good benefit, but when time is not of concern, is by having the ability to achieve the required 28 days curing period, as usual, but by using a reduced amount of cement. This, too, has been proven during the studies.
Strong interest is building for other ways to apply this innovation, such as substantially accelerating cure time for concrete used in the drilling industry, all facets of the construction, as America is gearing up for rebuilding the countries infrastructure industry (roads, dams, bridges, buildings). Specification Specific Concrete production is the first area that SuperOx will most likely focus its commercialization efforts. This concrete is batched and pored immediately on the same location, eliminating long hold times in transit mix trucks.
Manufacturers and end users have the option of using the SuperOx technologies to shorten cure times, increase concrete compression strength or reduce the amount of cement required to reach the specific strength desirable.
